Nic Surpatanu

Chief Product Officer, Tanium

As chief product officer, Nic Surpatanu oversees the Tanium product portfolio. Prior to Tanium, Nic served as senior vice president of product at UiPath, where he was responsible for the automation cloud and automation suite businesses, the platform behind the on-prem and cloud products in the UiPath portfolio, robot management services, analytics and BI, the developer community, licensing, trials, and direct-buy and customer portals. He also spent more than 20 years at Microsoft in increasingly senior product and engineering roles, in addition to serving as Google’s engineering manager of mobile services and as a software engineer at Nodes GmbH. Nic is passionate about working with customers and internal stakeholders to build innovative software businesses and products. He holds a BS in computer science from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iași, Romania.
